Thank you for your interest in our driver education programs. Our driver education classes are five or six week courses.

Students must be sixteen years of age by the last class day in order to legally be enrolled in that class. Classes are held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-6 or 6-8 PM unless otherwise noted.

The final written exam is given on the last day of class. A minimum score of 80 is required for course completion. All students need to have made up any missing assignments,
make-up work, make-up classes, and be paid in full to be seated for the final exam.

As in high school, it is the student's responsibility to obtain, complete & promptly pass in their make-up work. The State regulation on attendance is very rigid: no more than 2 classroom sessions may be missed from the course. Make up work will be provided for those two
absences if they are used. NH code requires driving lessons to correlate with the classroom experience. Students and parents need to realize that vacation plans, religious education
classes, sports, jobs etc. do not excuse a student from the attendance and/or driving
regulations. Sleeping during observation is a mandatory absence. An eye screening will be administered to all students on their first day. Any student who does not pass will not have driving or observation hours scheduled until remedial steps on their part have been taken. No licenses are issued by the State unless the applicant is capable of reading at least 20/40 with two eyes or 20/30 with one eye.

In addition to the 30 hours of classroom time, all students must complete 10 driving hours and 6 observation hours. These hours will be scheduled individually and in advance between the class start date and the class ending date. Appointments will be scheduled in the same order as we received the completed registrations. All driving and observation appointments begin and end at the driving school. No pick up service is provided.

A 24 hr. notice of cancellation for driving appointments is required or a missed lesson fee of $50.00 will be charged.

Students who do not demonstrate adequate improvement in their driving skills from one lesson to the next will have future driving appointments postponed until more practice driving has been accomplished and their driving skills, judgment and or driving attitude has improved. Due to limited enrollment, we accept students on a first received registration - first enrolled basis. Late applications of students will be returned intact. You may reapply if you desire for the next class.

Total cost of the course is $680.00 a nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit of $100.00 must accompany the registration form with the remainder to be paid in full on the first day of class or a minimum of 3 equal installments on the first day of class of weeks 1, 2 & 3. Checks should be made to A+ Traffic Safety Education. Checks returned for insufficient funds will have an additional $40.00 handling fee.

Students need to furnish us with a copy of their birth certificate. This is MANDATORY
for registration. Do not send the original as we need to keep the copy for our records.

Students will not be allowed to take driver education if they have had their driving
privileges suspended or revoked and haven't been restored by the Department of Motor
Vehicles. Some examples of these might be driving without a driver's license, unlawful
procurement of alcohol or cigarettes, bicycle citations, etc. If you have any questions or
doubts, you must check with DMV at 271-3101 prior to registering to see if your student
can legally be admitted to a driver education course. Be prepared to give your student's
name, date of birth, and social security number. All students' names are submitted to the
DMV immediately after the first day of class, and students with any violations unresolved
by the Courts are suspended from class. No refunds will be given.

Responsible and courteous behavior is expected in the classroom and automobile at all times. Disruptive, destructive or disrespectful behavior for classmates or instructors will be grounds for expulsion. No refunds will be given.

Completed and signed registration forms, deposit checks and birth certificate copies must be mailed to A+ Traffic Safety Education, 517 Milton St; Man. NH 03104, ATTN: Registration Desk. Note the mailing address is different from the classroom address of 944 Elm St. Registrations may or may not be delivered and / or received in time at the Elm Street address.  Please call and leave a message if you have any questions or concerns.
